Q. When is your car show held?
A. Every Friday, weather permitting., at 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Q. Where is your car show located?
A. In the Plaza at Davie — 11590 W State Road 84, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33325. We park in the spots on the East of Lowe’s, between the “F45 Training” gym and “Mr. and Mrs. Crab”.
Q. How much does it cost to attend?
A. Cars parking in the show area are required to pay $5. If one wishes to park outside of the show area and walk around, it’s free.
Q. Why do you charge show-cars a fee?
A. The Florida Street Rods pay out of pocket for insurance to cover visitors in the parking lot. Without it, the show wouldn’t happen.
Q. Which types of cars are permitted in the show area?
A. All makes & models are welcome — classics, exotics (both new and old), lowriders, imports…
Q. Are there contests, trophies, prizes, etc?
A. Currently, no. We prefer not to have competitions that could potentially create a divide among our attendees. If the show grows even further and we choose suitable judges, perhaps it could happen in the future.
